Three purification grades of plasmid DNA in order to supply the most suitable and ready-to-use products
Molecular biology research grade The plasmid DNA purity provides excellent results in most molecular biology applications: cloning, sequencing, in vitro transcription, restriction analysis, and transfection
Endotoxin-free grade
Endotoxin yield, less than 0.1 EU/mg plasmid DNA (FDA specifications) is well suited for highly reproducible and efficient transfection. Endotoxins (LPS) are released during lysis step of plasmid purification. They significantly reduce transfection efficiencies and induce non-specific activation of immune responses in immune cells, which can lead to misinterpretation of transfection result.
Pre-clinical grade
Protein level is less than 0.1 EU/mg and the purification is guaranteed with an absence of microorganisms (Bioburden assay verification).
MilleGen offers a stringent quality control from start to finish of plasmid DNA production procedure. Each batch of plasmid DNA is delivered with a certificate of analysis.
