  • August 2009, MilleGen announces the puplication of a paper entitled "Alternative-splicing-based bicistronic vectors for ratio-controlled protein expression and application to recombinant antibody production" in Nucleic Acids Research (constructs that allow a ratio-controlled expression of proteins of interest in stably transfected cell lines. (PMID: 19729510).

  • February 2009, The French “Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche” as renewed the registration of MilleGen as an organization carrying out R&D activities. This certification allows private companies to include the research realized by MilleGen as contract services in the “crédit d’impot recherche”.

2008

  • October 2008, MilleGen publishes in Analytical Biochemistry an innovative method for a direct cytoplasmic detection of protein/protein interactions (CPPI).

  • September 2008, MilleGen is pleased to announce the successful evaluation by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to fund a research collaboration project between Copenhagen Univ. Stanford Univ., and MilleGen to engineer a biomarker, which targets insulin secreting functional human beta cells. Read the JDRF abstract.

  • August 2008, MilleGen is pleased to announce successful achievement of the final phase of a recombinant antibody library screening program for a FDA laboratory (Bethesda, MD,USA).

  • June 2008, MilleGen announces the successful evaluation by the "Pôle de compétitivité Cancer Bio Santé de Toulouse" of a project entitled "humanization of an antimetastatic murine monoclonal antibody". The project is in collaboration with a laboratory of INSERM in Lyon (France).

  • June 2008, MilleGen announces the successful achievement of the optimization of an industrial enzyme using its proprietary Mutagen™ technology published in Protein Science.

  • May 2008, MilleGen enters into collaborative agreement with Accuro to propose simultaneous humanisation, affinity and immunogenicity optimisation of monoclonal antibodies.

2007

  • October 2007, MilleGen is invited to give a presentation of its antibody discovery platform at Antibodies - Europe (November 7-8, 2007, Vienna, Austria).

  • September 2007, MilleGen launches a new method for a direct cytoplasmic detection of protein/protein interactions (Patent WO2007119165). This technology allows the characterization of proteins as well as partner identification, interaction mapping and drug discovery applications (screening small molecules, peptides or intrabodies able to modulate intracytoplasmic interactions).

  • August 2007, MilleGen reports the development of a robotic high-throughput screening platform published in Journal of Biomolecular Screening.

  • June 2007, MilleGen relocates its laboratories and head quarter into a new facility of 800 square meters in Labège (near Toulouse, France). This bigger facility will allow MilleGen to expand the automation and industrialization of its antibody and directed molecular evolution platform.

  • March 2007, Toulouse and les Ulis, FRANCE
    MilleGen and LFB sign research partnership agreement to develop new generation of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
