MutaScreen    

MilleGen has set up a robotic platform allowing a high throughput screening of the mutants generated by the MutaGen process.


The MutaScreen platform is adaptable according to the molecule to improve.

  • The screening is designed and developped according to the molecule characteristics, properties (affinity, activity, ...) to evolve and in function of the environment (industrial, therapeutical, ...)
  • The screening is adapted on MilleGen's HTS platform (cell screening processes, robotic). Every step is optimized in order to screen the highest numbers of variants in the best conditions.
  • According to the difficulties of the selection test, we are capable to screen between 105-109 clones in few weeks.

The MutaScreen platform will accelerate dramatically the speed of the selection of a mutant with the defined properties. The different mutations of the selected mutants will then be analysed with our bioinformatic tools and databases (MilleGate). According to the results, other cycles of mutagenesis and selection will be applied to obtain the optimal evolution.
